Job summary

Valley Fire Control is hiring a Full-time, field-based Fire & Life Safety Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain alarm, sprinkler, backflow, hydrants, kitchen suppression, and portable extinguishers. Daily travel within Oregon with occasional cross-market travel to Idaho/Washington is required.

Applicants should have 7+ years in inspection, Oregon LEA license, and relevant NFPA knowledge. Training for Edwards certification is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years inspecting and testing commercial fire and life safety systems.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance across alarm, sprinkler, backflow, hydrants, kitchen suppression, and portable extinguishers.
• Coordinate with schedulers, project managers, and customers to keep work moving.
• Mentor single-scope inspectors working toward cross-training.
