Job summary

Valley Fire Control in Albany, OR is hiring a Fire Alarm Inspector & Service Technician. This field-based, hourly, non-exempt role focuses on inspection, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems across Oregon and nearby markets.

You will diagnose issues, program systems, coordinate with customers, and travel daily within the assigned territory. A strong background in NFPA 72 and Edwards platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon LEA license is required.
• Minimum 5+ years in fire alarm testing/inspections is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire alarm inspection and testing per NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems; identify and communicate deficiencies.
• Program, test, and commission systems installed by contractors.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers and document work.
