Job summary

The University of Illinois System is seeking an experienced Asst/Assoc/Full Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology in Chicago, IL. The role includes providing anesthesia services at the University of Illinois Hospital and Specialty Care Building, with additional duties at Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago.

Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists are sought; subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Pediatric, or Pain Medicine is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist required.
• Fellowship training in Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Pediatric, or Pain Medicine preferred but not required.
• Cardiac/Neurosurgical subspecialty with at least 3 years of substantial experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services at the University of Illinois Hospital and Specialty Care Building.
• Pediatric cases at Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago.
• Participate in resident and fellow education and medical direction of CRNAs.
