A Merchandiser at ICS is the face of our company to our clients' customers. These Merchandisers support Home Depot stores in their area. The role involves visual merchandising, unloading & stocking shipments of live goods, and customer relations at the location.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Comply with ICS company policies and procedures
• Maintain excellent client relationships
• Execute merchandising standards at the client location
• Communicate daily with leadership regarding operational obstacles
• Advocate for watering standards to ensure the well-being of live goods
• Stock tables and displays with merchandise, keeping the garden center organized and planogram compliant
• Ensure proper signage is in place at all times
• Verify delivery orders and check them in properly
• Ensure carts are accurately merchandised with signage and are easy to shop
• Support accurate inventory management
• Support team efforts as needed
• Be eager to work and embrace challenges
• Basic knowledge of plants and gardening or an interest in learning is helpful
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication skills
• Experience in merchandising is a plus, but a positive attitude is more important
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Complete tasks while maintaining order
• Work proactively without constant oversight
• Use smartphones/devices daily for timekeeping and communication
• Weekend availability is highly desired
• Opportunity for additional hours during peak season
• Reliable transportation is required
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry up to 50 lbs
