A Merchandiser at ICS is the face of our company to our clients' customers. These Merchandisers will support Home Depot stores in their area. This role is responsible for visual merchandising, unloading & stocking shipments of live goods, and customer relations at this location.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Comply with ICS company policies and procedures
2. Maintain excellent client relationships
3. Execute merchandising standards at the client location
4. Communicate daily with leadership regarding execution or operational obstacles
5. Advocate for watering standards to ensure the well-being of our live goods
6. Stock tables and displays with merchandise, keeping the garden center organized and planogram compliant with client expectations
7. Ensure proper signage is in place at all times
8. Ensure all delivery orders are accurate and properly checked in
9. Maintain carts with up-to-date signage, making products easy to shop
10. Support accurate inventory standards
11. Support our team as needed
12. Be eager to work and embrace challenges
13. A basic knowledge of plants and gardening or an interest in learning about them is helpful
14. Possess professionalism and strong communication skills
15. Experience in merchandising is a plus, but a positive attitude is more important
16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
17. Ability to complete tasks while maintaining order
18. Initiative to work at a personal pace without constant oversight
19. Basic computer skills, including use of smartphones/devices for timekeeping
20. Weekend availability is highly desired
21. Opportunity to take on additional hours during peak season, with streamlined duties during non-peak seasons
