Job summary

The Village for Families & Children is seeking a licensed clinician to provide comprehensive behavioral health services across children, adolescents, and adults. You will conduct assessments, diagnose, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapies within a multidisciplinary team.

You will coordinate care, support discharge planning, and connect clients with community resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field leading to clinical licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑graduate outpatient clinical experience.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Experience delivering individual, family, and/or group therapy.
• Knowledge of community resources and child welfare systems.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Position Summary

Salary: starting at $54,000

The Clinician provides comprehensive behavioral health services and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of clinical treatment for assigned clients. This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy assessment and treatment across the lifespan. The role includes conducting both child and adult assessments, developing diagnostic impressions, creating treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic services that promote lasting change.

As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy, collaborate with community partners, and help clients navigate their path toward recovery, resilience, and wellness.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Assessment & Treatment

• Conduct comprehensive clinical and biopsychosocial assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Establish DSM-5 diagnoses in collaboration with supervisors, psychiatrists, medical providers, and clinical leadership as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and service agreements.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and modify treatment plans based on client progress.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services.
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization support when needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and facilitate connections to community resources and supportive services.
• Provide ongoing case management and care coordination.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards, HIPAA requirements, and funding regulations.
• Manage client records and treatment documentation.
• Meet established productivity and service delivery expectations.

Collaboration & Professional Development

• Participate in Peer Consultation and Quality Assurance Reviews.
• Collaborate with clinical, medical, educational, and administrative staff to support positive client outcomes.
• Partner with colleagues to identify solutions for service gaps and unmet client needs.
• Maintain and strengthen skills in evidence-based treatment models.
• Engage in supervision and professional growth planning.
• Contribute to special projects, committees, workgroups, and agency initiatives.
• Represent The Village within community partnerships and professional networks.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Master's degree in:
  • Social Work (MSW)
  • Psychology
  • Counseling
  • Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Or another related behavioral health field leading to clinical licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of post‑graduate outpatient clinical experience (program dependent)
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Experience providing individual, family, and/or group therapy
• Knowledge of community resources, behavioral health systems, and child welfare systems
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while utilizing supervision appropriately
• Strong computer and electronic documentation skills

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches
