Job summary

Hoxton Circle is seeking an Executive Recruiter for Finance & Accounting to run a full-desk, consultative search practice. You will work directly with CFOs, controllers, and senior finance leaders across New York/New Jersey, building a personal desk with real autonomy and accountability.

You’ll own the end-to-end process from discovery to close, developing a robust network and delivering proactive market intelligence. A hybrid office schedule in NYC is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Full desk, consultative search role focused on Finance & Accounting.
• Willingness to work in NYC hybrid environment (3–4 days in office).
• Ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen a high-quality network across Finance & Accounting at executive level.
• Own searches end-to-end: discovery, strategy, execution, close.
• Create opportunities through proactive outreach and market intelligence.
• Co-broker placements with senior peers and share insights.
• Operate like a business owner with autonomy and accountability.
