Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a motivated Recruiter to build robust pipelines for a fast-growing team in Los Angeles. This contract role offers exposure to a high-growth defense-adjacent environment and collaboration with the Recruiting Lead, hiring managers, and stakeholders.

You will own full-cycle recruiting across operations, legal, and G&A, focusing on hard-to-fill roles and data-driven hiring decisions while operating in a dynamic, small-team setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for defense or regulated industries.
• Strong collaboration with hiring managers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Recruiting Lead and managers to understand requirements and goals.
• Own full-cycle recruiting from screening to offer.
• Develop strategies to build talent pipelines via research, referrals, events, and campaigns.
• Partner with Coordinators, Recruiters, and Operations for workflows.
• Maintain and analyze pipeline metrics for stakeholders.
• Understand team products, roadmap, and culture to position roles.
• Build expertise in skills, target companies, and industry trends for strategy.
• Use data to influence hiring strategies and track progress.
• Run point on external recruiting agencies for niche roles.
• Deliver a proactive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Work 3-4 days onsite out of our office in Los Angeles (El Segundo), California
