Job summary

Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy is seeking an HR Assistant to deliver a positive, organized employee experience. You will support recruitment, onboarding, personnel records, verifications, credentialing, payroll processing, and routine inquiries, while conducting 30/60/90 day check-ins and maintaining compliance.

Compensation is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. This role emphasizes attention to detail, discretion, and a professional approach to supporting employees and the mission of Leaps & Bounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, recruiting, administrative support preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee meetings, trainings, and performance review documentation.
• Respond to routine employee questions and direct complex matters to the HR Manager and CEO.
• Maintain attendance records, time-off, and other HR tracking records.
• Assist supervisors with their team member’s time off requests.
• Prepare HR letters, reports, spreadsheets and internal communications.
• Handle employment verifications within Company policy.
• Assist with payroll preparation, data entry, and review.
• Support onboarding, new-hire paperwork, and record maintenance.
