Job summary

Golden Care is seeking a Caregiver Recruiter to own the full caregiver hiring cycle—from sourcing, outreach, screening, to onboarding and handoff to scheduling.

You will build a reliable caregiver pipeline to meet current staffing needs in San Diego County, actively engage candidates, run interviews, perform background checks, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely hires and caregiver retention.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience proactively sourcing and engaging candidates.
• Experience using job boards, resume databases, direct outreach, referrals, networking, or other sourcing methods to develop candidate pipelines.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple candidates, priorities, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and ability to work with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Knowledge of California employment law basics, including I-9, background check, and Fair Chance Act requirements.
• Strong phone, written, and in-person communication skills.
• Familiarity with recruiting technology and applicant tracking systems.
• Valid California driver’s license and transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Source caregiver candidates through multiple channels and outreach efforts.
• Post and refresh caregiver openings on Indeed, social media, and the company careers page.
• Screen and interview candidates; coordinate scheduling and references; extend offers.
• Maintain an organized candidate pipeline and timely communication with applicants.
• Partner with operations to understand caregiver demand and adjust sourcing accordingly.
• Track recruitment metrics and report weekly on hiring progress.
• Guide hires through onboarding and state-required compliance steps.
