Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing professional services firm in Cincinnati, OH to identify a Bookkeeper for a direct-hire opportunity. This role will serve a portfolio of about 20 clients, providing full-charge bookkeeping and building trusted client relationships.

You will handle AP/AR, journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting, while supporting monthly accounting functions. Tax preparation or tax support experience is a plus, and the office offers a collaborative,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a multi-client setting.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and general accounting principles.
• Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, financial statement prep, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-charge bookkeeping services for a portfolio of client accounts.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, billing, and vendor/customer maintenance.
• Prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and maintain GL activity.
• Generate trial balances, financial statements, and other client reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including fixed asset tracking.
