Position Overview:
Our client isseeking a skilled and dependable Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of theirday-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role requires a strong command of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle everything from transactional bookkeeping to preparing financial statements and supporting tax filings.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Process payroll and related tax filings (if applicable)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
Handle journal entries and perform month-end and year-end closings
Collaborate with external CPA or tax preparer for audits and tax return preparation
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Oversee or assist with inventory, fixed assets, and job costing (if applicable)
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred)
3+ years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Sage, Xero)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Discretion and integrity in handling confidential financial information
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
Familiarity with payroll software and tax filing processes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
