We are a sustainable energy supplier specializing in the design and distribution of solar and battery storage systems. We work nationwide with both do-it-yourself (DIY) and professional installation companies offering a range of products and solutions from solar panels, racking, power electronics, battery systems as well as design and permitting services. To support our continued growth, we are hiring a bookkeeper to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. We are looking for someone with experience in construction and or distribution industries.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Enter Transactions: Input and manage financial transactions in QuickBooks Online accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing, track payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Payroll and labor management: Assist with payroll, track overtime, ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Education: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or certificate in Accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks is essential QuickBooks Online is preferred as well as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Core Competencies: Attention to detail, strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
