Job summary

MSC is seeking a Merchandise Selector to manually pick products for orders and prepare shipments in our Customer Fulfillment Center in the United States. The role involves transport of pallets using motorized jacks and RF-scanned processes to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include item picking, loading/unloading, validating items with RF scanners, batching orders, and operating powered equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and comfort with order processing systems.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer demand.
• Valid state driver's license where required by location.
• Internal certification to operate powered equipment within specified timelines.
• Internal certification to handle DOT-regulated items when required.
• Specific physical requirements include lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and count items from bins, flat stock and racks to fill orders.
• Load, unload and move product by hand, tote or by skid.
• Verify products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantity; inspect for damage; use RF to validate items.
• Batch orders and assign packing slips to pick product to totes via RF scanning.
• Operate basic and advanced powered equipment (electric pallet jack, forklift, turret truck, order picker).
• Train cross-functionally in other departments to support business needs.
• Follow safety guidelines, meet productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Work Clean program.
