The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and teamwork, with overtime as needed and potential training across departments. Starting wage is about $20 per hour, with benefits and weekend scheduling considerations.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license in some cases.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items if required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds and working with protective gear.

Responsibilities

• Pick and count items from bins, flat stock and racks to fill orders.
• Load, unload and move product by hand or with equipment.
• Verify products using item numbers and descriptions; inspect for damage.
• Batch orders and assign packing slips; use RF scanning to pick.
• Operate powered equipment: electric pallet jack, forklift, turret truck, order picker.
• Follow safety guidelines and support cross-functional training.
