Job summary

710 Labs is hiring a Fulfillment Technician to support packaging and distribution operations. You will handle packaging, labeling, inventory, and order fulfillment while upholding quality, compliance, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include staging finished goods, packing orders for delivery, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced cannabis facility. Prior cannabis experience is a plus.

Position Summary

The Fulfillment Technician supports daily operations across both Packaging and Distribution within the merged Fulfillment Department. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Fulfillment; the Fulfillment Supervisor; and the Packaging and Distribution Leads. Fulfillment Technicians perform hands‑on tasks related to packaging, inventory control, warehousing, staging, and order fulfillment while ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Packaging Responsibilities
  • Preparation and cleaning of boxes, jars, lids, and equipment for packaging.
  • Affix packaging labels to prepared boxes and jars.
  • Tamper seal grammed jars of concentrates or Cannabis Flower
  • Filling gram jars of water hash, live rosin, hash oil, sauce, etc.
  • Filling various sized jars with Cannabis Flower, or pre‑rolls.
  • Sanitization of equipment and packaging department spaces.
  • Maintaining strict paper records of product grammed , product boxed, damaged items, discrepancies, and equipment issues
  • Record keeping of all details pertinent to packaging and inventory.
  • Follow all QC protocols set forth in the department.
  • Storing of supplies and equipment, disposal of waste, and keeping the work area in pristine condition.
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Working collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Enforcing a culture of safety and attention to detail.
Fulfillment, Distribution & Logistics Responsibilities (New Section)
  • Assist with the staging, organizing, and movement of finished goods for distribution.
  • Support the picking, packing, and verification of orders for internal and external deliveries.
  • Perform inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate storage locations.
  • Utilize METRC or internal systems (as permitted by role) to support compliance‑driven documentation and product tracking.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, including receiving, put‑away, labeling, and shelf maintenance.
  • Support loading/unloading activities, ensuring proper handling and safety of products.
  • Communicate any inventory shortages, labeling issues, or product concerns to Leads or Supervisors promptly.
  • Follow all distribution and fulfillment SOPs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Assist leadership by preparing products for shipment and supporting delivery readiness.
  • Maintain an organized and compliant staging area to facilitate smooth order flow
  • Perform any other assignments given by the Sr Manager, Fulfillment, GM, or Senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desired.
  • Experience and background in the cannabis industry a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and writing .
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience with inventory is desired.
  • Detail oriented with an eye on process improvement and optimization.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, to manage high‑stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires.
  • For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday.
  • Must be able to handle constructive feedback and guidance and offer the same to others in the department.
  • Comfortable working in environments with variable temperatures including freezers and cold storage (below 32 degrees).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
