Goose-Creek-Candles-LLC in Liberty Township, Ohio, is hiring a Fulfillment Center Picker to support order fulfillment from start to finish. You will scan barcodes, pick correct items and quantities, and place them into boxes efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

This role requires stamina to stand long hours, the ability to walk extended distances, and strong teamwork and communication. Overtime is common during peak periods, with weekend shifts included.

Responsibilities

Job Description and Scope:The job of a Fulfillment Center Picker is to play a part in order fulfillment from start to finish. Fulfillment Center Pickers are responsible for being as accurate as possible when picking the product for the order. This member is also responsible for being as efficient as possible and combining speed and accuracy in the department to which they are assigned. This team member is not limited to one department but can be needed in all departments, even multiple departments per shift.Picking Responsibilities:Scan barcodes on boxes to see what items need to be picked in their desired zonePick the correct product as well as the correct quantity of products and place in the correct boxMake sure all orders are picked accurately and quickly as possibleHelp other people in the picking department if they are backed up or are picking up set-asidesKeeps area clean and organizedWorks as a team with other team members** Overtime is required when assigned during peak periods.** Weekend Shift:Friday and Saturday - 7 am - 7:30 pm, and Sunday 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm - Work all 34 hours and get paid for 40!If overtime is assigned, it usually is on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.Requirements:Be able to be on your feet for an extended timeMust be able to keep up with the workflow, often very fast-pacedBe able to walk upwards of 10 miles a dayBe able to lift 10-20 pounds from the floor to the waistBe able to adapt to changing situations and assignmentsNotice discrepancies in orders or products when filling themHave good communication skills and teamwork as a priorityPreferred Experience:High School DiplomaForklift Experience / CertificationBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time off** Overtime is required when assigned during peak periods.
