• 2+ years in a production or order fulfillment environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Baltic Born Fulfillment Specialists - pickers, packers and go backs.
• Establish daily goals according to the orders in the queue and staffing.
• Communicate expectations to the team and encourage accountability for metrics.
• Ensure orders are sent out in a timely manner and prioritize oldest and express orders.
• Review errors with team and implement procedures to correct them.
• Oversee express, international and domestic orders while adhering to shipping regulations.
• Oversee daily pickups and alert Manager if late or missed.
• Meet with the Fulfillment Manager weekly to discuss goals and issues.
• Oversee shipping supplies and alert if running low.
• Conduct biannual performance reviews using the PerformYard Platform.
• Keep and update records and recap daily goals, achievements, and issues via email.
• Maintain a clean and organized Fulfillment Department and supervise end-of-day cleanup.
• Coordinate with warehouse leaders on opening/closing/security procedures.

JOB SUMMARY

The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for leading the Fulfillment Department at Baltic Born. This is a very integral part of the foundation of Baltic Born and it is critical that this department is kept flowing in a timely manner, as we strive to stay within a 24 hour order fulfillment window. As a leader at Baltic Born, you are an extension of the owners and expected to maintain a positive, drama-free environment for your team. This role includes leading, developing and continually training the team of Baltic Born Fulfillment specialists. It also includes implementing and improving new processes to increase efficiencies, and tracking the metrics of each individual on the team. This role requires confidence, positive energy, good management skills, and organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the team of Baltic Born Fulfillment Specialists - pickers, packers and go backs.
• Establish daily goals according to the orders in the queue and staffing.
• Communicate expectations to the team and encourage them to be accountable for metrics set in place.
• Ensure orders are sent out in a timely manner and accurately. Working on oldest orders and express orders to ship first.
• Review errors with team members and implement procedures to correct errors.
• Oversee the express, international and domestic orders, paying special attention to weights and measurements of packages adhere to any shipping regulations.
• Oversee pickups of the orders that happen daily and alert your Manager if these are late or missed.
• Meet with the Fulfillment Manager weekly to discuss goals, metrics and issues needing attention.
• Oversee the shipping supplies in the Fulfillment Department and alert the manager if anything is running low.
• Conduct biannual performance reviews with Fulfillment team members using the PerformYard Platform.
• Keep and update records and send email recapping daily goals and achievement, stats and issues that arose.
• Keep the Fulfillment Department clean and organized and oversee end of day cleanup.
• Coordinate with other warehouse leaders on opening and closing/security procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years in a production or order fulfillment environment

Proven ability to lead a team in a fast paced environment.
