YouParcel in East Hanover, NJ seeks an experienced Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities at our East Hanover operation. You will lead picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and returns processing, ensuring orders are accurate and dispatched on time.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor, strong knowledge of inventory control, WMS, and carrier coordination, plus the ability to coach staff and optimize processes for quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations.
• Experience supervising warehouse employees or leading operational teams.
• Strong understanding of picking, packing, inventory control, and shipping processes.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanning technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work on the warehouse floor when needed.

YouParcel is seeking an experienced and hands-on Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities at our East Hanover, New Jersey operation.

The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with practical experience in e-commerce fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that orders are processed accurately, employees remain productive, and operational deadlines are consistently met.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Supervise daily picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and returns processing activities.

Assign tasks to warehouse associates and coordinate work based on daily order volumes and operational priorities.

Ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched within established deadlines.

Monitor workflow across packing stations, storage areas, and shipping operations.

Coordinate daily carrier pickups and resolve operational issues affecting outbound shipments.

Support inventory receiving, putaway, replenishment, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.

Oversee quality control procedures to minimize shipping errors, damages, and inventory discrepancies.

Train, supervise, and support warehouse associates.

Monitor attendance, employee performance, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Provide ongoing coaching and identify training needs.

Communicate operational expectations and ensure accountability throughout the team.

Assist with staffing and workload planning during seasonal or high-volume periods.

Performance & Process Improvement

Monitor key performance indicators, including order accuracy, orders processed per hour, shipping turnaround, and labor productivity.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical improvements.

Investigate order discrepancies, inventory shortages, and customer-related fulfillment issues.

Maintain accurate records and prepare daily operational updates for management.

Coordinate with customer service and other internal departments to resolve fulfillment-related problems.

Enforce warehouse safety procedures and maintain an organized working environment.

Requirements

Required

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations.

Previous experience supervising warehouse employees or leading operational teams.

Strong understanding of picking, packing, inventory control, and shipping processes.

Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanning technology.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and make operational decisions.

Willingness to work directly on the warehouse floor when needed.

Commitment to accuracy, safety, productivity, and customer service.

Preferred

Experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) or multi-client fulfillment environment.

Knowledge of domestic and international parcel shipping.

Experience working with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL.

Familiarity with warehouse performance metrics and labor planning.

Experience with returns processing, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counts.

Experience improving warehouse procedures and training employees.
