The Cigna Group seeks an experienced Staff Pharmacist for Accredo in Orlando, FL, to oversee daily dispensing, quality, and production. The role requires ACPE-accredited degree, active pharmacist license, and the ability to coordinate with physicians and patients to verify prescriptions.

You will work a flexible schedule with peak volumes and may train other pharmacists as needed. The job is on-site at the Orlando location with shift options and occasional on-call weeks.

## Fulfillment Staff Pharmacist - Accredo- Orlando, FLApply: On-site: Orlando, FL: Full time: Posted Today: 26011936**This position is worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite at our Orlando, FL location** **We have the following shifts available for this position:*** **Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5 pm** **with a one week on call every 9-weeks.*** **Monday-Friday 10:30 am-7 pm** **with a one week on call every 9-weeks.*** **Monday-Wednesday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm; Thursday-Friday, 11:30 am - 8:00 pm** **with a one week on call every 9-weeks.** *\\*Some portions of these shifts may have an applicable shift differential.* As a Staff Pharmacist you will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines. In addition, maintain daily production, quality and service levels, vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs. The Staff Pharmacist may also train less experienced pharmacists. **What you will do:*** Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians. Interpret physicians’ or prescribers’ prescriptions.* Contact doctors and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions such as drug strength, prescription sig., and drug name in order to expedite processing of orders.* Verify and confirm validity of controlled substances.* Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry.* Contact physicians for new and/or transfer authorization.* Work with physicians to convert prescriptions to generic or preferred drugs whenever possible.* Consult with patients regarding the use of medications and potential drug interactions.* Back up other pharmacists as needed, perform additional duties as assigned by management, or train less experienced pharmacists. **What you will need to do the job:*** Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S.
