Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring for a retail associate in Virginia. You will pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy and safety in staging areas. You will assist customers, validate orders, and direct them to the right associates for help.

You will operate powered equipment per certification requirements and support inventory accuracy, audits, and housekeeping tasks. A customer-first mindset and teamwork are essential for daily success.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Powered Equipment Certification required (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck)

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and resolve short picks with leadership
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and locker management, reporting safety or theft concerns promptly
• Achieve daily duties with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs
