Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Abilene, TX is hiring for a Team Member responsible for picking, staging, and fulfilling customer orders with accuracy and care.

You will validate orders, assist customers, and connect them with the right associates while maintaining clean, safe staging areas. You will operate powered equipment with proper certification, support inventory accuracy using store systems, and participate in audits and readiness tasks.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered Equipment Certification required (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting quality items, validating orders, and assisting customers.
• Operate and maintain powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance.
• Complete audits, order follow-ups, locker management, and report safety concerns promptly.
• Work with a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
