Role Description
The Fulfillment Specialist role at Fastenal is a part-time, on‑site position based in Wooster, OH. This role involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment or pickup, ensuring products are labeled, organized, and handled safely. The Fulfillment Specialist will assist with inventory counts, stocking shelves, and maintaining clean, orderly storage areas to support efficient operations. Daily responsibilities may also include basic customer service at the counter, coordinating with sales and warehouse teams, and using company systems to track orders and inventory. This position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and reliable, timely work habits.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform accurate Packing and order preparation tasks.
- Strong Customer Service skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competence in Inventory Management and Inventory Control to support stocking, tracking, and replenishment.
- Basic Sales support skills, such as assisting with order inquiries and product availability.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Comfort with using basic computer systems or handheld devices for order and inventory processing.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
