Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company in Windsor, CT is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support shipping, general warehouse, and returns processing. The role operates in a non-temperature-controlled environment with shifts that may change.

You will fill orders, use WMS for shipments, and help maintain accurate inventory to ensure on-time delivery to customers. The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments and order fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control.
• Comfortable with fast-paced distribution centers.
• Ability to learn warehouse systems and processes (WMS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Pick shoes for customer orders and pack for shipping.
• Process shipments using the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Pack and prepare orders for outbound shipping.
• Ensure order fulfillment accuracy and quality control before shipping.
• Work scheduled shifts (Wed–Sun, 9am–finish; subject to change).
• Receive shipments and stock inventory; maintain accurate locations.
• Support inventory replenishment and cycle counts.
• Handle returns processing and ensure inventory accuracy.
