Job summary

Dragonfly Health is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and safety in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will contribute to high-quality care by reviewing prescriptions, supervising technicians, and maintaining meticulous records.

Collaborate with prescribers and pharmacy leadership to optimize patient outcomes, participate in audits, and drive continuous quality improvements in hospice and post-acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college.
• Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs (Medicare/Medicaid).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy and potential interactions.
• Provide oversight to pharmacy technicians for accurate preparation and packaging.
• Maintain complete documentation for prescriptions, inventory and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with prescribers and leadership to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Participate in audits and quality initiatives to enhance workflows and safety.

What you will do

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and contraindications based on patient-specific factors.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications.
• Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy leadership, and team members to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in audits, process improvements, and continuous quality initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety.

What we look for

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
