Job summary

The AMES Companies, Inc. in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Fulfillment Operator 2 to support fast-paced order preparation in our eCommerce center.

You will perform order picking, pallet replenishments, loading, unloading, and put-away while maintaining safety standards and OSHA compliance. You must hold industrial forklift certifications (Cherry Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Pacer, Walkie Rider), have RF scanning experience, and be able to read simple instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass and maintain industrial lift certifications (Cherry Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Pacer, Walkie Rider).
• Reading and comprehension of simple instructions; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking, full pallet replenishments, product moves, loading, unloading, and put away.
• Maintain forklift certifications and demonstrate competency using RF scanning device.
• Report quality and inventory variances to leads or supervisors.
• Keep facilities, equipment, tools, and materials clean and organized, adhering to sanitation practices.
• Assist with training others and supporting safety policies and procedures.
