Job summary

The AMES Companies, Inc. in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Fulfillment Operator 2 to support fast-paced order preparation in our eCommerce center. You will use RF devices to pick items, unload containers, and operate equipment to ensure timely shipment of orders.

Responsibilities include packing, processing returns, documenting paperwork, and maintaining safe, organized work areas while meeting KPI targets. Training is available for various operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Pacer and Walkie Rider Lift Certification.
• High school diploma or GED, or three months related experience.
• Must be able to complete simple math, and read and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders using RF devices and pick items from designated locations.
• Unload/import containers and stack onto pallets per quantity/height requirements.
• Operate MHE equipment: Walkie Rider and Pacer; use Box on Demand for packing boxes.
• Pack and secure products for shipping to UPS/FedEx terminals with accuracy.
• Process returns and handle custom orders; verify product quantities.
• Report quality and inventory variances to leads/supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow OSHA regulations.
