Job summary

The AMES Companies, Inc. in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Fulfillment Operator 2 to support order preparation in a fast-paced eCommerce center.

You will perform pick operations, pallet replenishments, loading/unloading, and data entry to ensure timely shipments and accuracy. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment certifications (Cherry Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Pacer, Walkie Rider), using RF scanners, and collaborating with leads to meet KPIs while following safety policies and PPE

Qualifications

• Must pass and maintain industrial lift certifications (Cherry Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Pacer, Walkie Rider).
• Two or three stand up forklift certifications and RF scanning experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to perform simple math and read/understand basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking, full pallet replenishments, product moves, loading, unloading and put away.
• Assist with other projects as assigned and maintain equipment in safe condition.
• Maintain PIT certifications and demonstrate competency with RF scanning devices.
• Report quality and inventory variances to leads/supervisors and support KPI achievement.
• Keep the facility clean and organized and comply with PPE and safety policies.
