The pay range per hour is $23.25 - $39.50.

- Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team
- Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies
- Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
- Process improvements and workload efficiency
- Leading a team of hourly team members, including skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
As a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train, and coach expectations to deliver the service standard.
- Lead your team and drive fulfillment goals, understanding your role in supporting sales growth and how your departments and team contribute to and impact total store profitability, in support of your leader.
- Utilize workload planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduled workload and all orders are fulfilled to meet delivery and service standards.
- Review all fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve them.
- With direction from your leader, create daily plans for your team.
- Be an expert in operations, accuracy, process, and efficiency.
- Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pickup and ship-from-store workload.
- Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team. Support your leader in their onboarding.
- Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness, and hold team members accountable to expectations. Close any training gaps through coaching conversations.
- Work a flexible schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked. Partner with your leader for ordering.
- If applicable, follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
- Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; lead the team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment.
- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately.
- Model the execution of physical security processes to enhance the in-store security culture.
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the store, including ordering, storage, and application as directed by best practices.
- Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching, and team interactions.
- Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
- Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup, Drive Up, and maintain a culture of compliance, including with adult beverage laws.
- Model creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks.
- Demonstrate engagement with guests when assistance is needed, and help solve their specific needs.
- Lead by thanking guests and letting them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
- Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Effective communication skills
