Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Fulfillment Operations Supervisor to serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and support the day-to-day coordination of customer needs. This position is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating customer requests, leading customer-facing meetings, and working close with warehouse, shipping, transportation, sales and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring customer requirements are clearly communicated, coordinated and executed accurately across all areas of the operation. This position requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving and following-through, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast paced warehouse and logistics environment.

This is a primarily office-based position focused on order coordination, scheduling, inventory tracking, production communication, documentation, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers & oversee the day-to-day coordination of customer accounts, including orders, shipments, deliveries, inventory, requests, and follow-up items within WMS.
• Oversee customer support tickets and their timely resolution and coordinating the team responsible for addressing customer requests.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through consistent communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Lead and participate in customer-facing meetings, including operational reviews, account meetings, and issue-resolution discussions.
• Coordinate customer requirements and requests with warehouse, shipping, receiving, transportation, sales, and other internal teams.
• Schedule and confirm pickups and deliveries with customers and carriers.
• Track shipments and forecasts/proactively communicate delays, changes, or other issues to customers.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, reports, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory, order, production and shipping records.
• Monitor customer requirements and communicate important account needs to the appropriate internal teams.
• Assist with inventory checks and communicate product availability and inventory status to customers.
• Coordinate returns, credits, claims, and customer complaints as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service, communication, and operational processes.
• Perform other administrative, customer-service, and warehouse-support duties as assigned.
• Provide administrative and operational support to Operations Manager
• Identify potential fulfillment delays, shortages, or discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate team.
• Support food safety, quality, traceability, and documentation requirements.
• Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures and fulfillment processes.
• Track recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service, fulfillment, account coordination, warehouse, logistics or administrative support is a must.
• Previous supervisory experience is a must.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, email, and order/inventory management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating between multiple departments is strongly preferred.
• Ability to identify problems, follow through on solutions, and communicate effectively with management and staff.
• Strong follow-through and ability to take ownership of customer requests and issues.
• Ability to lead and participate in customer-facing meetings in a professional manner.
• Willingness to participate in an annual seminar or training session related to customer service, account management, logistics, or other relevant topics.
• Must successfully pass required pre-employment screening.

• Position is in Melvindale, MI.
• Shift - 7am to 330pm, flexible to start earlier if needed and also must be flexible to work overtime and weekends.
