Job summary

Wine.com is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Maplewood, NJ fulfillment center. This role works with the General Manager to execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational plans and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

The role oversees purchasing, receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, shipping, and other center operations, driving efficiency and excellence in performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics center management or related field.
• Strong inventory management skills with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of warehouse/logistics center functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• English reading/writing proficiency; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily warehouse activities and cycle counts.
• Lead fulfillment floor and develop staff through training and coaching.
• Ensure 100% SOP compliance and achieve annual performance goals.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and daily management of logistics staff.
• Set expectations and uphold high standards of work practices and productivity.
• Address shipping issues to maintain smooth operations and monitor order fulfillment.
