Job summary

DutchWare Gear is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee daily movement of products, materials, and inventory within our Lancaster County facility. This hands-on role combines leadership with active participation in picking, packing, receiving, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in warehouse management, strong organizational skills, and comfort with shipping software and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in warehouse management or similar field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with computers, shipping software, inventory systems, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping operations for retail, wholesale, and other orders.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Coordinate shipments with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers.
• Receive incoming materials, verify against PO, packing slips, and quantities.
• Maintain organized receiving, staging, and inventory areas.
• Lead and train team members; monitor productivity and accuracy.
• Identify workflow problems and suggest improvements.
• Maintain proper documentation of goods and inventory.
