Job summary

Tarbell Management Group is seeking a Fulfillment Manager to lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping coordination, and team oversight in Arizona. Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification preferred; or at least three years of related warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, shipping/receiving, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks, and keep leadership informed as needed.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, identify solutions, and support sound operational decision-making.
  • Proficiency with inventory systems, production operating systems, data entry, Microsoft Office or equivalent software, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to prepare routine reports, standard operating procedures, and transactional documents such as bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, and labels.
  • Ability to apply basic business math, inventory calculations, and U.S. decimal and metric measurements.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily fulfillment and warehouse operations to support production needs, customer requirements, and priority shipping deadlines.
  • Schedule, guide, and support the Warehouse Team to ensure proper coverage, efficient workflow, safety, and overtime management.
  • Oversee receiving, verification, documentation, and storage of inbound materials, returns, and freight deliveries.
  • Manage order fulfillment activities, including picking, staging, verification, palletizing, labeling, documentation, and preparation for outbound shipment.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with the Customer Experience Department to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy for finished goods, raw materials, and related areas.
  • Support inventory controls, cycle counts, FIFO, month-end reconciliation, and reporting of discrepancies.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Promote a clean, organized, safe, and productive warehouse environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

TheFulfillment Manageris responsible forleading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping coordination, and warehouse team oversight. This role supports a fast-paced production and customer fulfillment environment by organizing workflow, prioritizing shipping deadlines,maintainingaccurateinventory records, and ensuring warehouse activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily fulfillment and warehouse operations to support production needs, customer requirements, and priority shipping deadlines.
  • Schedule, guide, and support the Warehouse Team to ensure proper coverage, efficient workflow, safety, and effective use of overtime.
  • Oversee receiving, verification, documentation, and storage of inbound raw materials, returns, and freight deliveries.
  • Manage order fulfillment activities, including picking, staging, verification, palletizing, labeling, documentation, and preparation for outbound shipment.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with the Customer Experience Department to supportaccurate,timelydelivery of finished product orders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy for finished goods, raw materials, tax-paid areas, samples, and Tribal or State tax stamps.
  • Support inventory controls, cycle counts, FIFO practices, month-end reconciliation, andtimelyreporting of discrepancies or damages.
  • Use MRP, SAGE Accpac, and related systems to document receiving, inventory, order activity,mis-picks, and required reports.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and assigned tools, in safe and workingcondition.
  • Follow applicable shipping, export, duty-free zone, safety, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assistwith special projects, trade show shipments, large or complex orders, and other operationalneeds asassigned.
  • Promote a clean, organized, safe, and productive warehouse environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical certification preferred; or at least three years of related warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, shipping/receiving, or supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Work may involve exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, freight carriers, warehouse equipment, production activity, moderate noise, and changing temperatures.
  • Must follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate equipment and personal protective equipment when required.
