Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. in Augusta, Georgia, seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead daily fulfillment activities within warehousing and lineside materials to support production schedules.

You will monitor safety, workmanship, productivity and attendance, provide coaching to a cross-trained team, and drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and standardized processes. SAP and MS Office experience are preferred, with Lean/Six Sigma familiarity valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fulfillment activities in warehousing and lineside materials to meet production schedules.
• Review daily operations for safe conditions, workmanship, productivity, attendance and compliance to expectations.
• Report on established goals and metrics.
• Identify training gaps and provide training to develop a cross trained team.
• Identify CI opportunities by determining root cause and developing a corrective action plan.
• Recommend workplace layouts, fulfillment methods, and handling efficiencies by auditing processes to improve material flow, reduce errors and improve overall cost.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise to identify gaps in process and possible solutions for correction.
