Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. in the Augusta area is seeking a Team Leader to oversee daily fulfillment activities within warehousing and lineside materials, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently.

You will review operations for safety, workmanship, productivity, attendance and compliance; report on goals and metrics; identify training gaps and develop a cross-trained team; and pursue continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fulfillment activities within warehousing and lineside materials to meet production schedules in the most efficient and effective manner.
• Review daily operations by checking on safe working conditions, workmanship, productivity, attendance and compliance to expectations.
• Report on established goals and metrics.
• Identify training gaps and provide training to develop a cross trained team.
• Identify CI opportunities by determining root cause and developing a corrective action plan.
• Recommend workplace layouts, fulfillment methods, and handling efficiencies by auditing processes to improve material flow, reduce errors and improve overall cost.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise to identify gaps in process and possible solutions for correction.
