Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking an RPM Manager in Augusta, GA. This role oversees shop floor staffing, time/attendance, and performance, ensuring adherence to standards and safety while driving continuous improvement and cost reductions.

The manager will coordinate production activities, review daily operations, and build partnerships with educational boards and suppliers. Full-time position with first shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office and SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hire and retain shop floor employees and manage time and attendance, performance, and employee concerns.
• Review daily operations for workmanship, adherence to standards, efficiency, safety, and housekeeping.
• Identify training gaps and recommend skill development and CI projects.
• Oversee new projects related to continuous improvement and quality operations.
• Organize operations within assigned area to meet production schedules with school systems and schedules.
• Recommend layouts, methods, and efficiencies by auditing operations to reduce costs.
• Maintain relationships and coordinate activities between Augusta Tech and Richmond County Board of Education.
