Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Supervisor, Fulfillment Center - Materials Management to lead day-to-day materials handling, ensure on-time deliveries, and drive continuous improvement across the Hawthorne Fulfillment Center.

You will mentor staff, optimize inventory, coordinate with shipping, receiving, QA, planning and purchasing, and uphold safety policies while meeting aerospace-grade standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field or 6+ years in materials management, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• Lean/6-Sigma experience (Green/Black Belt) desired.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve timecards, schedule, conduct reviews, and mentor direct reports.
• Implement best logistics and inventory practices including transportation, kitting, and work-order management.
• Support and maintain metrics for Inventory teams.
• Conduct safety walkthroughs and enforce safety policies.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Quality, Transportation, Planning, and Purchasing to resolve material issues.
• Own area audits and ensure operational compliance.
• Improve workspace design and promote a flexible, respectful change culture.
• Perform other related duties for efficiency.
