Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a major fulfillment center. You will lead maintenance operations, oversee safety programs, and partner with client leadership to deliver reliable, high-performance material handling systems.

You will supervise maintenance staff, mentor teams on preventive maintenance, manage the budget, and drive improvements in equipment reliability and uptime across a complex automated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) required.
• 5+ years of leadership and coaching in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years maintaining material handling equipment.
• 2+ years packaging automation and mechanical systems experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of financial concepts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies.
• Ability to travel off-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety-first culture and ensure CBRE employees return home safely.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to maintenance of high-speed conveyance and robotic movement systems.
• Supervise employees within a single functional area.
• Coach on preventive maintenance strategies and document corrective work.
• Direct the local team to meet daily maintenance targets.
• Manage the maintenance-related budget for the fulfillment center.
• Approve staff recruitment and advancement recommendations.
• Plan staffing and labor utilization, including overtime.
• Prepare and deliver performance appraisals.
• Lead incident investigations, interviews, audits, assessments.
• Model CBRE values and build positive relationships with client team.
