Job summary

Staples in Ontario, CA is offering a Fulfillment Center Intern position, an on-site, 11-week program for juniors/seniors studying logistics or business. You’ll shadow supervisors and gain hands-on experience in order picking, restocking, and shipping while learning safety, inventory control, and lean practices.

You will work with a team to support daily operations, analyze activity, and contribute to reports and process improvements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Shadow fulfillment center supervisors to learn warehouse operations and safety.
• Assist in daily operations across departments (order picking, restocking, bulk selecting, custodianship, material handling, receiving, returns, shipping).
• Participate in training and support of a team, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
• Contribute to inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Assist with reports on departmental activities, KPIs, and project status updates to management.
• Support process improvements and lean practices in warehouse operations.
