Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Area Manager for our on-site operations in Pennsylvania. This entry-level, full-time role leads a team of 50–100 hourly associates across fulfillment centers and delivery stations, with focus on safety, quality and performance.

You will mentor and develop staff, manage shifts including nights and weekends, and participate in comprehensive training to become an effective people leader within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Relocation not offered; site-based posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Must have all degree requirements met before first day.
• Eligible candidates must have work authorization without employer intervention.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays; most sites follow a 4-day work week
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages, operate PIT equipment as applicable
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance standards
