Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in New York is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time while keeping work areas clean and safe.

You will operate powered equipment, validate orders, assist customers, and support inventory accuracy using store systems, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety. The role includes benefits like health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by validating orders and connecting customers with associates.
• Operate and certify powered equipment per safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits and locker management.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
