Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking remote Fulani (Fulfulde) over-the-phone interpreters to support USCIS contracts. You will provide real-time, neutral interpretation in immigration and legal contexts while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Candidates should have native or near-native Fulani and English, 2+ years of interpreting experience, and eligibility for Tier 3/5 federal clearance. Remote work with flexible schedule and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Fulani and English.
• At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, or government preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
• Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Fulani-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret accurately, neutrally, and professionally in immigration and legal contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge interpretation requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
