Summary

To perform set-up, tear down, and operation of Equipment in support of Printed Circuit Board Assembly Processes and Procedures in a lean manufacturing environment.

Work Hours

6:00am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday: 10 hour shifts

4:30pm-3:00am Monday – Thursday: 10 hour shifts

Weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday): 6:00am-6:30pm, work 36 hours, paid 40 hours

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate surface mount equipment.
• Perform basic levels of maintenance following established procedures, and assist maintenance technicians as required.
• Identify and report defective components.
• Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process.
• Track work being completed and communicate line status every hour.
• Perform minor machine adjustments as needed.
• Control, document and process to MRB non-conforming material.
• Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space.
• Inspect each assembled PCB before solder operations to ensure compliance to solderability standards.
• Assist engineering in debugging equipment programs.
• Maintain data logs.
• Other responsibilities as required and necessary for the business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in equipment operation preferred.
• Knowledge of workmanship standards.
• Experience with pick and place equipment. Universal Fuzion is a plus.
• SPC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature.
• Ability to set up and tear down operation.
• Knowledge of component handling, including ESD requirements.
• Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment.
• The pay rate starts at $22.00 + per hour depending on experience.
