Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. seeks a FHE Mechanic to install, maintain, repair, and adjust pumps, valves, meters, and pipelines for airfield liquid fuel systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnosing and repairing motors, pumps, and hydraulic equipment, and ensuring safe operation.

Candidates must read and interpret manuals, maintain records, and coordinate with vendors; US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance required.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school with five years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual preventive maintenance on fuel servicing equipment, storage, and dispensing systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves, and related equipment.
• Calibrate gauges/meters and replace faulty parts to restore operation.
