Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Fuels Handling Equipment (FHE) Technician to provide integrated logistics support for WRM fuels assets. You will inspect, test, store and maintain FHE assets to sustain contingency operations and exercises.

Responsibilities include testing after repairs, storage prep per data, periodic inspections, hydrostatic hose testing, shelf-life monitoring, and kit inventories. Requires weather tolerance, driver’s license, and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to five years of job-related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience in installation, operation, inspection, maintenance and/or repair of fuel delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and functionally test FHE after repairs, before release for use or return to storage.
• Prepare FHE for storage in accordance with end-item technical data.
• Perform periodic visual and functional inspections on active storage equipment.
• Perform hydrostatic hose testing.
• Maintain Shelf-Life program for FHE parts (hoses, valves, seals, etc.).
• Inventory RSPs and UTC FHE kits.
• Perform other duties as required by the section or program.
