Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a fuels control center operator stationed at Peterson AFB, CO. You will operate and maintain the Fuels Control Center, dispatching and coordinating with MOCC and expediter.

Duties include data collection for inventory, following checklists and emergency procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires one year of USAF fuels experience or civilian equivalent, and the ability to obtain a fuels certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in USAF Fuels or civilian equivalent.
• Ability to complete fuels military equivalent certified qualifications within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airfield Competency Card.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Strong teamwork and detail orientation.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

Education/Knowledge and/or Experience:

• One year of work experience working in a USAF Fuels specialty or civilian equivalency.

• Ability to obtain and maintain airfield Competency Card.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

• Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Fuels Manager Defense (FMD) certificate preferred.

Security Clearance:

• National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI)

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee must be able to stand, walk and sit for a prolonged period of time; use hands and/or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; operate office equipment; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distant vision. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds.

Travel:

Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.

Work Location:

The employee will primarily be located in Peterson AFB, CO.

Work Environment:

Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat, near moving mechanical parts and includes occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and to vibration.
