Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Gas Attendant to distribute and record gasoline disbursements for vehicles, input usage into AS400 via TC75, and ensure vehicles are fueled and safe for sale days.

You will assist customers in locating vehicles and support Auction operations with timely, accurate reporting. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with related experience or an equivalent combination of education and five years in a related field, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience.
• Alternative: higher degree/certification in a related discipline or 5 years related field experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and accurately record gasoline disbursed in vehicles.
• Enter fuel usage in AS400 via TC75.
• Start vehicles, check fuel gauges, mark vehicles needing fuel, and refuel.
• Report and record Auction gasoline levels and alert the proper person to avoid running out of gasoline in the main fill area.
• Report inoperable vehicles to Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
• Jump start vehicles and inflate tires as needed.
• Report damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles (pumps, fuel trucks).
• Assist customers in locating vehicles.
• Assist in sale day duties (drive, lane leader, etc.).
• Assist in audits of gasoline disbursement when necessary.
