Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Temple, Texas is hiring a Fuel/Wash Teammate to support the Transportation Department.

The role involves fueling tractors and refrigeration units, washing equipment, and coordinating with Yard Drivers to keep vehicles clean and mechanically sound. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, can read and write English, and are capable of operating a semi on McLane property.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to drive a semi tractor (on McLane property only) and understand air brake operations.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Fuel tractors and trailer refrigeration units.
• Wash tractor trailers and facilities in the Transportation Department.
• Coordinate with Yard Driver and shop to ensure vehicles are cleaned, fueled and mechanically sound.
• Note maintenance issues and forward information to the shop Mechanics.
• Maintain fuel islands with proper safety signage.
