Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking a Fuel Truck Driver to support our Virginia field operations. You will operate a fueling vehicle, perform inspections, and fuel heavy equipment at diverse job sites across the region.

The role requires a Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, a clean driving record, and ability to pass a DOT physical. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 7 years.
• DOT pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Background checks required for secure facility access.

Responsibilities

• Know DOT rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain reports.
• Maintain daily mileage and fuel dispense logs.
• Safely operate commercial vehicle in various sites across Virginia.
• Refuel heavy equipment with diesel fuel.
• Daily greasing of equipment wear parts.
• Fluid top-offs as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Uphold health and safety policies.
• Establish positive relations with co-workers.
