Job summary

GLP Transit is seeking a professional CDL driver to deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers. You will load/unload, operate trucks safely and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

This role requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and the ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen along with DOT/FMCSA medical requirements. Weekend availability and overtime opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• TWIC card REQUIRED.
• Prior fuel truck driving experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and maintain DOT/FMCSA medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products according to regulations.
• Safely operates trucks per company policies and laws.
• Keeps vehicle clean and conducts safety inspections daily.
• Compares and completes paperwork per procedures.

Description

This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of their vehicle. Drivers are responsible for delivering petroleum products to company owned sites and customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.

Requirements
